The brief.

Kenya’s heritage fabric maker has been weaving since 1968; since 2022 it’s been doing it on a 999 kWp turn-key rooftop. 1,840 modules across several roofs, feeding two power rooms, with genset integration and VCOM remote monitoring.

The numbers made the board smile: KSh 1.8 million saved in a single month, a 3.25-year payback, and 1.52 kt of CO₂ offset, the equivalent of planting 144,023 trees. Watch the commissioning below.
