Fleur Africa

The brief.

Fleur Africa grows roses on 65 hectares at Naivasha. Its solar system was implemented in two phases, leveraging PV’s modular design as the farm’s confidence grew, and both phases are managed by a single controller with power-sharing capability.

The 647 kWp array covers roughly a quarter of the farm’s load. As GM Camilo Serrano puts it: “This is one of the rare scenarios where what’s good for the environment is good for your pocket.” The farm saves 24 to 25% on electricity.
